Camel Calculator Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about the fictional score, the verified 50–136 range, privacy, partners, sharing and the site’s other animal-worth quizzes.

Important: this is an entertainment calculator with an original scoring formula. It is not a dowry calculator, animal-price estimator, scientific assessment or measure of a person’s value.

Using the camel calculator

How many camels am I worth?
Complete the eight questions on the free camel calculator. It combines fixed points for age, height, hair colour, eye colour, body type, personality, exercise and dress sense, then displays a fictional score and full breakdown.
Is the camel calculator accurate?
It accurately applies this website’s published game rules. It cannot accurately price a person, measure attractiveness, predict compatibility or reproduce a cultural practice. The point table is explained in the complete formula guide.
Does gender change the score?
No. The calculator does not ask for gender. Everyone uses the same questions and weights.
Can I calculate my boyfriend, girlfriend or partner?
Yes. Choose partner mode on the homepage or use the side-by-side partner calculator. Partner mode adds the disclosed five-point game modifier to both people.
Can I compare friends?
Yes. Use the same mode for a like-for-like comparison, or run a private two-to-six-player camel calculator challenge.
Why does another website give me a different answer?
There is no universal camel-worth formula. Different websites use different questions, weights and score ranges, so results are not directly comparable.

Scores, ranges and sharing

What is the highest possible camel score?
The verified maximum is 136 camels in partner mode. It comes from 50 base points, the highest answer value in every category and the five-point partner adjustment.
What is the lowest possible camel score?
The verified minimum is 50 camels. The full boundary calculation is published on the formula page.
What is the average camel score?
The site does not claim an average visitor score because it does not maintain a representative results database. Across all 5,556,600 possible formula combinations, the mathematical mean is 97.88, the median is 98 and the most common result is 99. Those are formula statistics, not visitor statistics. Explore them in the camel score analysis.
Is 100 camels a good score?
On this website, 100 falls in the “Excellent Herd” game band. The label is only a playful way to interpret the number and is not a ranking of people.
Can I convert my score into pounds?
Not as a real valuation. You may multiply a score by a hypothetical number for entertainment, but real animals vary by species, age, health, training, location and market. A person cannot be priced in livestock or money.
Can I share my result?
Yes. The result panel offers WhatsApp, Facebook, X and copy controls. Share responsibly and avoid presenting the score as a real judgement about somebody.

Privacy and site operation

Do you store my calculator answers?
The calculation runs in your browser and is not submitted to a results account or public leaderboard. The wider website may use consent-controlled analytics or advertising described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Do I need to register or provide an email address?
No. The calculators do not require an account, email address or payment.
Does the calculator use AI or facial analysis?
No. It uses fixed point tables and simple arithmetic in the browser. It does not analyse a photograph or infer hidden traits.
Who runs the website?
A small independent UK-based team maintains the research, code and corrections. Read the editorial and sourcing policy or report an error.

Other animal-worth quizzes

Are the donkey, goat and chicken scores conversions from camels?
No. Each is a separate entertainment quiz with its own questions, weights and result range. Any multiplier is a game-design choice, not a historical livestock exchange rate.
Where can I find all the animal calculators?
Use the animal worth calculator hub to compare the camel, donkey, goat and chicken quizzes.

Real camels, history and UK rules

How much is a camel worth in the UK?
There is no reliable single public UK benchmark. Quotes depend on the individual animal, seller, transport, licensing and veterinary requirements. The evidence-led UK camel value guide explains how to evaluate a real quote without inventing a fixed price.
Is it legal to keep a camel in England or Wales?
Camels are listed under the Dangerous Wild Animals Act schedule, so prospective keepers should contact their local council before acquiring one. Identification, disease-control and import requirements can also apply. Check current GOV.UK licensing guidance and obtain specialist legal and veterinary advice.
Was there a historical formula for valuing people in camels?
No universal formula is documented. Camels have held economic and cultural importance in many societies, but customs differ by place and period. This website’s formula is original entertainment, not a reconstruction. See the sourced history.
When was the dromedary domesticated?
Current genetic and archaeological research places likely dromedary domestication in south-eastern Arabia during the late second millennium BCE. Earlier camel remains or art do not automatically prove domestication.
