How Does the Camel Calculator Work?

The camel calculator formula at a glance
The calculator uses simple addition. It does not use artificial intelligence, face analysis, market data or a hidden cultural formula.
Important: these weights are original game mechanics. They are not scientific measurements, real livestock valuations or claims about attractiveness, health, compatibility, culture or anyone’s personal worth.

Age entry is limited to adults aged 18 to 100.

Gender does not change the score. The calculator does not ask for gender, and every person uses these same eight tables. For a two-person comparison, our Partner Camel Calculator applies the disclosed partner adjustment equally to both people.
Worked example: how a 129-camel score is calculated
Suppose you select partner mode for a 28-year-old who is 176 cm tall, has black hair and green eyes, chooses athletic, funny, exercises a few times a week and has smart dress sense.
How the 50–136 score range is verified
The published limits come from adding the lowest and highest available value in each table. They are not estimates or visitor averages.
Verified minimum
The lowest age, hair, fitness and friend-mode values are balanced by the minimum positive values in the other categories.
50 − 8 + 2 − 3 + 5 + 4 + 4 − 3 + 2 − 3 = 50
Verified maximum
Selecting the highest point value in every factor plus partner mode produces the upper boundary.
50 + 12 + 12 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 9 + 10 + 8 + 5 = 136
No average is claimed: this website does not publish a representative database of visitor results. The midpoint of a possible range is not the same as an average score or population percentile.
How camel scores are grouped
The labels make a result easier to read. They have no meaning outside this quiz.

Why are the factors weighted this way?
The point values were designed to create varied, shareable entertainment results. They were not trained on people, copied from a historical practice or derived from a camel market. No answer is objectively more valuable than another.
Publishing the table makes the game reproducible: two people who submit the same answers in the same mode should receive the same score. It also lets visitors see exactly why one answer changes a total.
Is the camel calculator accurate?
It is accurate only in the narrow sense that it consistently applies its published game rules. It cannot accurately price a person, predict compatibility or convert someone into a real number of animals. Actual camel prices depend on factors such as market, breed, age, health, training and purpose; see the separately sourced guide to how much a camel is worth for that different topic.
Why can another website give a different score?
There is no universal camel calculator formula. Other quizzes may use different questions, point values, score ranges or gender-specific routes. A score from another website should not be interpreted using these tables.
What happens if the formula changes?
The homepage calculator, partner calculator, score checker and this methodology page should always use the same version. If any weight changes, all four pages should be updated together and the change should be described here so old and new results are not silently mixed.
How calculator answers are handled: the scoring code processes the selected answers in the visitor’s browser. The calculator does not require an account and does not submit those answers to a public results database. The wider website may use consent-controlled analytics; current services and choices should be described in the Privacy Policy. Do not enter sensitive information into an entertainment quiz.
